Make This Season Extra Special
/‘Tis the season for coming together with friends and family, celebrating the holidays, and enjoying each other’s company.
This year has been, well… quite the year. So we’ve put together some ideas (that won’t take a ton of work) for you to make gatherings this holiday season extra special for your friends and family. Who knows, maybe they’ll be come traditions that you carry on for years!
Plan a Girls’ Night Sip and Shop
If you’re missing girls’ nights and holiday window shopping, try making a virtual date!
We’re no stranger to virtual happy hours this year, but getting together with girl friends to shop online is a great way to find new small businesses and give each other ideas for those hard-to-buy-for family members on your list! Plan to all drink the same wine (you can order our Rosé online if you’re planning ahead) or bring your favorite to the call and it’ll feel just like you’re together!
Host a Christmas Brunch with a Festive Mimosa Bar
Whether it’s actually Christmas morning, or a weekend get together beforehand, instead of hosting dinner, put together a full-blown holiday brunch with a festive twist with recipes like Christmas morning casserole and gingerbread waffles.
For the mimosa bar, put out a few bottles of Luna Nuda Prosecco and let your guests make their own holiday cocktails (don’t forget some Orange Juice for the purists):
- Cranberry and orange juice + Prosecco with a sprig of rosemary
- Apple cider + Prosecco with a dusting of cinnamon
- Prosecco + mix of apple, cranberry, and pomegranate seeds
Serve a Four Course Wine Dinner
Make the holiday feel extra special this year by elevating your dining experience with perfectly paired wines to go along with your meal, from start to finish.
Your family and friends will feel like they’re at a five-star restaurant, and you’ll forever be the hostess who created a holiday celebration to remember. Feel free to follow this menu exactly or use this as inspiration to create your own four course meal. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram with your Luna Nuda holiday dinner pairings!
Gather for a Holiday Bonfire with a S’mores Bar
Gathering outside is a great way to include cautious family and friends in holiday celebrations, and what better way to spend an evening outside than around a bonfire! Pass around mulled wine and keep everyone entertained with DIY s’mores for dessert! You can stick to the classics, or we’ve got a few ideas of ways to make them festive:
- Use gingerbread men instead of graham crackers
- Instead of regular chocolate, try using Andes Mint bars or York Peppermint Patties
- Chocolate dip graham crackers in advance and add red and green sprinkles
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of your marshmallows after they’re nicely toasted
