Prosecco Popsicle Cocktail

Summer weather is just beginning to creep up on us and we are in need of a refreshing poolside drink — enter the Prosecco and ice pop cocktail. It will dress up lazy pool days, backyard soirees and early evening cocktail hours all summer long.

So why didn’t we share this gem of a wine cocktail sooner, you ask? We were too busy taste testing the seemingly endless combination of flavors: strawberry, mango, pineapple, raspberry, and the list goes on and on. Nearly any refreshing fruit pop will go perfectly with our Luna Nuda Prosecco (we have the tasting notes to prove it).

Our Prosecco has delicate floral aromas and crisp, refreshing flavors of ripe golden apple and mountain flowers. If you want to channel your inner Ina Garten, there is nothing holding you back from whipping up your very own ice pops with fresh herbs, like basil and mint plus lots of bright summer fruit, like peaches or berries.

Add your homemade or store-bought pop to a glass with chilled Prosecco, and wait just long enough for the flavors to (literally) melt together. Sip and enjoy!

Ingredients:

4 small ice pops

1 (750ml) bottle of Luna Nuda Prosecco

Method:

Fill half of a wine glass with chilled Prosecco and place an ice pop in the glass.

Let the popsicle melt for a few moments before serving.
