Bar Cart Styling Essentials
/Bar carts are an essential for hosting at home, make sure that all of your guests can enjoy their favorite drink (and to keep the party out of the kitchen while you’re finishing food prep!) But what exactly does a bar cart need?
Besides cocktail ingredients, there are a few key accessories that your bar cart needs to be both fun and functional.
Let’s start with the bar!
When you’re looking for a bar cart, it’s important that it fits your space and style, but is also functional. We love a three shelf bar cart, with built in wine storage for all of those extra bottles of Luna Nuda. If you’ve got limited space and want to be able to hide extra stuff, look for a bar cart with a cabinet on one side - but an open bar cart doesn’t feel as big in the space, and invites guests to serve themselves.

Add a spill proof tray
You’re going to want a flat surface for placing snacks and wine glasses down between sips, just in case the ground is a little uneven! Look for a tray that’s light weight and easy to handle (like this one from Target), in case you want to pick up and move your picnic to a shady spot. We also love a neutral tray that can do double duty for setting out glasses of wine or apps when you’re hosting friends in your home!

You can never go wrong with a few good books
From cocktail recipes to entertaining essentials, books on your bar cart can be fun and functional! They make great talking points for guests, and can give you some inspiration ahead of hosting. Here are a few of our favorites:

Don’t forget to keep the white wine chilled
Keep that open bottle of white wine chilled for your guests, and looking cute! One of the benefits of a bar cart is getting the cocktail making tools out of the kitchen so you can keep it clear for cooking, and if guests are looking for white wine, you want it to be accessible.

Add a few cocktail accessories
While you can get away with a shaker and kitchen utensils to mix up cocktails and sangria, a well styled bar isn’t complete without a set of bar accessories. A shaker, jigger, strainer, and a classic stir spoon displayed well add style and function to your home bar.
And while you don’t need a wine key for most Luna Nuda wines, you’ll need one if you’re opening a bottle of our red blend!
